About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially minded and relationship-focused RTO Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Training Services team.
This role is responsible for driving enrolment growth, building strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities across accredited and non-accredited training services. Working closely with employers, community organisations, industry stakeholders, and internal teams, you’ll play a key role in expanding Opendoor’s training footprint and supporting sustainable growth across our Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
You’ll combine business development capability with a strong understanding of client engagement and service delivery, helping connect individuals and organisations with meaningful workforce development and training solutions.
You’ll be Responsible for:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across corporate, community, and government sectors
- Promoting accredited qualifications, short courses, and customised training solutions aligned to market demand
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, industry stakeholders, referral partners, and community organisations
- Managing inbound and outbound training enquiries and supporting enrolment conversion activities
- Developing proposals, quotations, and tailored workforce training solutions for clients
- Supporting lead generation campaigns, pipeline management, and CRM reporting activities
- Representing Opendoor Training Services at networking events, expos, and industry forums
- Monitoring labour market trends and identifying emerging training and workforce development opportunities
- Collaborating with operational and compliance teams to align training delivery capability with business growth activities
About You
You’re a proactive and confident relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people, identifying opportunities, and driving positive business outcomes.
You are commercially aware, customer-focused, and motivated by achieving growth outcomes while contributing to meaningful community impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational capability.
You will bring:
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, client engagement, or partnership development
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal capability
- Experience working towards revenue, enrolment, or operational targets
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities
- Experience using CRM systems, reporting tools, or pipeline management systems
- Confidence engaging with employers, industry stakeholders, and community partners
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to business growth and client service
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience within the RTO, VET, education, or training sector
- Understanding of accredited training frameworks or funding models
- Experience in workforce development, employability programs, or customised training solutions
- Existing industry or employer networks within Victoria
