About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer (CSO) within our Workforce Australia program, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, both over the phone and face-to-face.

  • This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where you will:
  • Provide professional front-desk and telephone support
  • Accurately triage and refer enquiries to the appropriate staff or program
  • Complete data entry, record keeping and general administration
  • Maintain accurate records in line with compliance and quality standards
  • Support site staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive team culture
  • You’ll play a key role in ensuring participants feel welcomed, respected and supported from their very first interaction.

About You

You are customer-focused, organised and calm under pressure. You enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and take pride in delivering accurate, timely work.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent administrative accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Sound judgement and the ability to escalate issues appropriately
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • Experience in employment services, community services or a similar environment will be highly regarded.
